サブタンクの固定方法を変更しました。 [KV75]
前回のサブタンク増設は、ショップオーナーさんのご厚意で、その場でツーリングに間に合うように取り付けていただきました。
その後、一人で７０Kmほど走り回った後に自分でステーを作成し、恒久的な固定方法に変更しました。
作業は、マイガレージで行いました。折角ガレージがあるので、もう少し機能的に整理しなければなりませんね。
卓上旋盤も、卓上フライス盤もガレージに移設したいです。
自分で作業するときには、写真は撮らないものですね。
ステンレス３ｍｍ厚の材料を切ったり、削ったり、穴あけしたり、曲げたり、塗装したり・・・結構、作業したんですが、まったく写していません。
取り付けは、エンジンをフレームにつるしているフレーム側から横にステーを一本、エンジン側から斜めにもう一本使って、固定しました。
これだけでは振動に弱いので、エンジン側から振動を抑えるためのホルダーを取り付けています。
取り付けた結果は、ホルダーってほどホールドしていませんが、振動は抑えてくれそうです。
振動が激しいと、サブタンクがアルミですので固定部が割れてしまいます。
ちょっと分かりにくいですね。
サブタンク左の取り付けは、フレームに固定できますが、右側はエンジン部のボルトから斜め上にステーを伸ばして固定しています。
燃料コック、チョーク、タンクキャップのクリアランスもばっちりです。
少しだけ見えている、ホルダーにはゴムを張り付けています。左右二箇所でホールドするようにしています。
サブタンク用の燃料コックも、このホルダーにタイラップで固定しました。
衣装をつるす針金のハンガーを切り取って、ホルダーに空けた穴にカシメて横へ渡し、そこにコックを固定しています。
これで完成です。
ついでに、マフラーからの排気漏れで、オイルが垂れてきていたので、その対策もしました。
写真では、汚れていますが勿論、対策するときにはパーツクリーナーで綺麗に洗浄してから行いました。
グラスウールを巻きつけてオイルが外へ出ないようにしています。
でも、そのうちまた垂れて来るかも・・・。
この部品自体を自作しようかなー。
もう一つついでに、長年の愛車（今年で２０年連添っています）ZZR400とのツーショットです。
