サブタンクを増設しました。 [KV75]
最近、更新が滞っていますね。
KV75のタンク容量は約３Lです。実際にガソリンスタンドで、タンクの９割まで入れた容量は２．６Lでした。
２ｓｔでこの容量、私の家から南阿蘇を回って大観峰まで無給油では行けそうにありません。サブタンクは絶対に必要です。
と言うわけで、今回はサブタンクの増設です。
増設するのはダックス用のサブタンクで、容量は１．５Lです。合わせて約４Lになります・・・、増設しても４Lかぁ。微妙ですね。
増設箇所はここ。
ガソリンタンクをフレームに固定しているボルトにサブタンクを固定します。
タンクの蓋も、ギリギリですがはまります。
問題は、メインタンクのガソリンコックと、チョークの隙間。これは、本当にギリギリです。
バイクの振動で、接触しそうですね。
まぁ、微妙な調整は後回しとして、さっそく取り付けましょう。
サブタンクを取り付けるために、ボルトを長めの物に変更して、緩み止めのナットを使って、取り付けます。振動でサブタンクが外れて、ガソリン撒き散らしたら怖いですからね。
ホース類はこれ。
燃料の流れが分かるように、透明のホースを使用します。
ホースの取り回しも、ホースが折れ曲がったり、しないように十分、配慮していただきました。
サブタンクは、ミニバイクツーリングに行く前につけたかったので、ショップオーナーさんにお願いして、つけていただきました。
これで取り敢えずは、取り付け終了です。
ミニバイクツーリングの後に、エンジンをフレームに固定しているボルトを利用して、自作のステーにて、がっちり固定する予定です。
その様子は、また後日。
ちなみに、ここまでの作業は３月中の出来事です。
サブタンクを付けてのツーリングは以前にアップした「桜の時期の試運転（前編）」「桜の時期の試運転（後編）」をご参照ください。
そう言えば、燃費の報告はしてましたっけ？
上記の試運転で計算した結果は、メインのガソリンタンクで７０Kmでした。容量が２．６Lですので、１Lあたり２６．９Kmです。
余裕を見て２６Kmと考えておきましょう。
メインタンクとサブタンクを合わせて４Lと言うことは、１０４Kmになります。
航続距離約１００Kmです。うーん、ツーリングに行くときには、サブタンクとは別に予備の燃料タンクをバッグに入れて持って行こうなぁ・・・。
